The CIEC Climbing Instructor Requalification
(There will be no charge for this
Qualification)
The objectives of the CIEC Climbing Instructor Requalification exam is to provide current climbing instructors trained through CIEC/OBC the opportunity to extend their cards for another two years and for expired instructors to regain qualification.
Instructors will demonstrate
specific skills, receive national and council policy updates, and attend short
seminars on new safety techniques and equipment.
A roundtable program format in 4-hour blocks encompasses staged scenarios
designed to challenge your puzzle solving ability and identify deficiencies for
correction.
After exams a short class will be held on new skills.
Please e-mail well in
advance so all can be accommodated. Bring your current First Aid/CPR card
(Instructor qualification will be held until provided).

CIEC 2008 Requalification Exams will be held
once a year in fixed location

There are no restrooms so "Be Prepared"
